Frequently Asked Questions

Can I tour the RESORT?

Absolutely! We'd love to set up a meet & greet and also show you and your pup our space.  Please note that you may only tour the outside of the facility in order to minimize any stress on our guests.  We have plenty of windows where you can view our space inside.  Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

What vaccinations are needed for my dog to stay at the RESORT?

All of our guests must be at least 12 weeks of age and have had their second round of vaccinations; which includes vaccinations for Parvo Virus, Distemper, and Bordatella.  For dogs over 6 months of age, a rabies vaccination is also required. We also recommend a flea treatment prior to the stay. If fleas are found on a dog, a mandatory flea treatment/bath will be required at the owner's expense.  

Vaccination records will be required to be uploaded to your account portal once registered as a customer.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. We understand that plans change. Due to our limited capacity, we ask for 48 hours notice. If a reservation is canceled within 48 hours, a $50 cancellation charge may apply.  Please note that we do not offer refunds on prepaid packages.

How do I pay?

All reservations are required to have a credit card on file. All prepaid packages must be purchased in advance. All other services will be billed at check out.  We will bill the card on file via our online portal unless otherwise noted.

Can I pick up/drop off whenever I want?

All pick up/drop offs must be scheduled by appointment. We offer the following pick up/drop off windows daily:

9:00-11:00am, 3:30-4:30pm, 5:00-7:00pm.  

Having timeframes in place allows us to maximize our guest's experience and not interrupt their playtimes, feedings, and other services such as walks.

If you are running late and miss a window, we are happy to push you to the next available window.  If you cannot pick up your dog by 7pm, we will have to push the pick up to the next morning and a $75 late fee will apply.

What should I bring?

All we need is your dog's food, unless you are requesting our food services.  Food must be portioned and provided in ziplock bags or non-breakable containers, with feeding instructions, dog's name and owner's name written clearly.

Besides food, we provide everything else! This includes toys, bones, antlers, dog bowls, bedding, etc.

To keep our resort as sanitary as possible, we ask that you do not bring in toys or dog beds.  We will not be responsible for any damaged or lost toys, if brought in.  We have an abundance of toys for our guests to play with!

Can my pup sleep on the couch or with another dog?

For safety reasons, all dogs sleep in their own sleeper at night (to avoid resource guarding).  Dogs staying at the RESORT must be crate-training and/or comfortable in a crate.

What does a day look like at the RESORT?

A day at the Resort is both mentally and physically stimulating. The structure implemented at the RESORT is aimed to mimic the lifestyle dogs have at home. Dogs get supervised social time in customized groups in both our indoor and outdoor play areas, with water and food breaks scheduled throughout the day.

‍‍‍During your dog's stay, ou‍‍‍r staff will reinforce training already in place (i.e. - practicing a default sit / not jumping / etc.).  We will never use any methods to physically or mentally intimidate dogs (we do not believe in using spray bottles).  Everything we utilize is based on science ‍‍(positive reinforcement methodologies).

Please note, if your dog has not had any training and you would like to add training to a stay, that is a different service (Board & Train/ Day Board & Train) and will need to be discussed further. Please contact us for more information.

Does the RESORT have any restrictions?

Due to our limited space, we can only take in dogs under 50 lbs.  A temperament test is required in order to book a stay at the RESORT.
